Congratulations to the winners!
We held our annual internal golf society event at Royal Wimbledon on 7th September 2026. There was an excellent turnout for this event as usual, we played 18 holes in drawn pairs with brunch beforehand and tea/cakes afterwards. The winners this year were Peter Jenkins and David Matthews.
For almost 30 years we have been playing for the magnificent Gardener Bowls, originally presented for this event by the evergreen Kenneth Gardener. Now in his 100th year, Ken joined us afterwards but this year we had prepared golf balls each with the logo “100th year” to show our appreciation of Ken. He presented each player with a tube of these balls.
