This year’s Winter Dinner will take place in the incredible Fishmongers’ Hall on Tuesday 17 February.
The Fishmongers Company is one of the oldest and most ancient Livery Companies of the City of London, one of the “Great Twelve”. The company has stood on banks of the River Thames for over 700 years and still plays a leading role in upholding standards in the trading of fish and shellfish.
The Hall, the third in the company’s history, was completed in 1835 and restored after war damage in 1954. It is widely considered to be one of the City’s finest, with its dramatic use of Portland stone and Devon granite, and its imposing views over the Thames.
Our speaker will be the highly respected Roger Lewis, whose highly successful entrepreneurial career encompasses the worlds of media, sport, charity and the military. We shall also be welcoming several of our military affiliates on the night.
