This year’s Winter Dinner will be held in the historic Stationers’ Hall on Wednesday, 7th February.
Stationers’ Hall is a Grade I listed building, close to St Paul’s Cathedral. It is one of the few ancient Livery Halls remaining in the City of London. Completed in 1673 after the Great Fire of London, the Hall’s suite of magnificent, inter-linking rooms, as well as its secluded garden, makes it one of the most sought after venues in the City.
After the meal, Members and their guests will hear from Geordie Greig, who, after a distinguished career in the press, including a tour as Editor of the Daily Mail, is now the Editor of The Independent. He will doubtless have plenty to say about the current state of the media and how he sees what is likely to an eventful next 12 months unfolding!
