Join us for a fascinating talk from David Redfern, Chief Strategy Officer of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
David will discuss GSK’s and the pharmaceutical industry’s current approach to the research and development of new medicines and vaccines, including specifically for covid, but also across oncology, infectious diseases such as HIV, neuroscience and other disease areas, and therefore where the significant medical advances are likely to be over the next decade.

David joined GSK in 1994. David was appointed Chairman of the Board of ViiV Healthcare Ltd in 2011 and is a Non-Executive Director of the Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Limited Board in 2015.
He has a BSc. degree from Bristol University and is a Chartered Accountant.
He has been a member of the Chartered Accountants Livery Company since 2018.
