This October, the Master-elect is inviting members to the magnificent Fishmongers’ Hall, by London Bridge to mark the start of his year. The Hall is famous for its fantastic architecture, splendid views across the Thames and the iconic portrait of Her Majesty by the then unknown Pietro Annigoni, which is now so valuable that it even has its own safe!
Last, and by no means least, the Master’s primary guest will be Noel Quinn, the CEO of HSBC, who is sure to say some interesting things about the global economy and possibly how his career took him from qualifying as a Chartered Accountant to becoming the CEO of one of the largest banks in the world.
