DESCRIPTION:BOOKINGS HAVE NOW CLOSED FOR THIS EVENT.\n\nThe Inter-Livery Tennis Tournament needs you!  \nEach year\, the Livery Companies come together in a tennis tournament organised by The Worshipful Company of Feltmakers of London\, and this year it is scheduled to take place at Queens Club on Wednesday 18th September\, starting at 11am. \nIt is open to teams of mixed pairs: at least one player in each pair should be a WCCAEW member. \nThere will be a dinner and presentation of prizes after the tournament\, with the whole event scheduled to finish just after 9.30pm. \n\nWe are looking for a lead/co-ordinator\, as well as players to make up a WCCAEW team! \nBooking does not open until mid-June\, but we are looking for expressions of interest before then. \nPlease contact Vicky Andrew (Secretary to the Livery Committee): millcove1912@gmail.com \nVicky would like to make it clear that she has not wielded a tennis racket for over 50 years! DESCRIPTION:Tour One Moorgate Place\, also known as Chartered Accountants’ Hall\, with guide Malcolm Bacchus\, a WCCAEW Court Assistant\, and longstanding Livery Company member. \nMalcolm became ICAEW President in June of this year\, and it is probably fair to say that few people know more about the history of the building than he does. This will be a very special evening. \nOne Moorgate Place is a grade II listed building which opened in 1893. It has a range of diverse spaces that can accommodate a number of event requirements. Opulent rooms such as the Main Reception Room and Members’ Room remain true to the building’s historical and cultural heritage\, while the Great Hall and range of contemporary and modern rooms are perfect for conferences and business meetings. \nAs you venture through One Moorgate Place\, you will appreciate the creative engineering work of the original architectural style and building design.  With extensions and updates taking place throughout its history\, there is a strong art-deco feel in some areas which juxtaposes the original features. \n\n \nFollowing the tour you are invited down for drinks in the the OMP Club in the basement of the building.\nYou are also welcome to join the group at an optional supper nearby. \nThere is no charge for the tour\, but you will have to cover the cost of any food and drink you have. \nPleaces are limited so please reserve your place below. \nAlternatively contact Clare Ferrar on clareferrar@accountantslivery.org or 07828 554967
